| ASP (Automatic Speaker Presence) is required when the AP8.9 bit amp is installed and designed to solve problems associated with signal interference or deactivation of OEM amplifiers when there is no speaker load. In this case, the source disables outputs, usually only for the Rear section. Therefore, if you can not adjust the input signal level during calibration due to a lack of signal on some or all of the AP8.9 bit inputs, then this load will be automatically deactivated by correcting the problem. Thanks to ASP, you do not need to mount fixed power resistors at the source outputs. the resistors will produce heat and, in addition, will cause the source to heat up unnecessarily. |
